We are highly picky, but open to suggestions.

QUADRIPLEGIC LINKS:

Jeff Galli: Interesting, well-written site about the experience of being quadriplegic. This site is particularly helpful for people who are curious about the high-tech equipment available for quadriplegics. If you want to know what a halo and a striker frame look like, this site has pictures.

Callahan Online: Quadriplegic cartoonist. Not for the easily offended, because it isn't politically correct at all, but if I didn't think it was funny, I wouldn't be listing it.

Je Don Washington: Another quadriplegic artist who managed to achieve the impossible. His accident is an eerie parallel to Wendell's experience.

Mike Murach: A quadriplegic artist who is working in digital media. The site itself is well designed and worth a look.

Moses Hamilton: A quadriplegic mouth-painter located in Hawaii, his tropical paintings are bold and colorful.

ARTIST LINKS: Here are a few of Wendell's favorite artists in no particular order. He took inspiration from a great many, but these artists were especially influential to him. The site that I decided to use for reference is very slow to load, but the images are superb!

John Singer Sargent: An excellent painter of portraiture and landscape, Sargent's flowing brush strokes lend a formidable realism to each subject.

Heironymous Bosch: Wendell was very interested in the esoteric paintings of Bosch. Echoes of Bosch appear in some of his pen and ink drawings.

Titian: An old master of the Venetian tradition.

Rembrandt: An old master of the Baroque Period.

Vermeer: The master of light. His paintings actually seem to glow in real life!

Leonardo Da Vinci: If you don't know who he is, you better click on this link quickly! EVERYBODY knows DaVinci!

FELLOW ARTISTS: Here are some very talented artists who have interesting web sites that you will enjoy.

Leon Engelen: Excellent oil paintings of rural scenery and animals in realistic classical technique. He also offers classes, and has an extensive compilation of links to other artists.

Seung-ho Kim: Talented artist and science teacher from South Korea. Painter of realistic oriental watercolor landscapes.

Ron Gang:  Painter of landscapes and other subjects from Israel.

Vasilij Belikov: A Russian painter of landscapes (and other genre) with an impressionistic, painterly style.
