Jeff Galli: Interesting,
well-written site about the experience of being quadriplegic. This site is particularly
helpful for people who are curious about the high-tech equipment
available for quadriplegics. If you want to know what a halo and a striker frame look like, this
site has pictures.
Callahan Online:
Quadriplegic cartoonist. Not for the easily offended, because it isn't
politically correct at all, but if I didn't think it was funny, I
wouldn't be listing it.
Mike Murach: A quadriplegic
artist who is working in digital media. The site itself is well designed
and worth a look.
Moses Hamilton: A quadriplegic
mouth-painter located in Hawaii, his tropical paintings are bold and
colorful.
Wheelchair Decor: One of Wendell's neighbors became physically confined to a wheelchair long after his accident. Her attitude is uplifting, and she makes wonderful wheelchair accessories which you can access through her blog. Wendell is the first person featured in her blog series "Portrait of a Hero" ( click here to see the post about Wendell ), and hopefully there will be more wonderful profiles of inspiring people to come in the months and years ahead! |
